Stemming from the Fazenda Leolinda terroir in the Bahia region, this bean with a cocoa content of 81% is cultivated on the Atlantic coast of Brazil. Produced mostly in Africa, with a surprising white colour, Forestaro actually originates from this region of Latin America. These beans are cultivated in a social and human ecosystem by over twenty families, in certified organic plantations that use no genetic techniques to increase production.
